Solar Companies Looking for New Business

January 7th, 2019 by

Solar Companies Looking for New Business need to check out where public and private rebates are being advertised. For example,  Duke Energy is planning to rebate up to 7,500 Solar Power customers in NC through 2022.

North Carolina is No. 2 in the nation for solar power. This includes more than 8,000 Duke Energy customers in the state owning private solar systems. The company’s rebate program that launched this summer attracted a huge amount of interest. In fact, capacity for residential and non-residential customers was fully subscribed within weeks. There is still capacity for nonprofit customers in 2018.

More than $6 million has been distributed to customers in 2018. There are additional rebates set to be paid later in the year as more systems are connected. The program will run through 2022. As a result, 7,500 customers will receive Duke Energy rebates for solar systems.

Do you market solar installations?

If you own and work for a Solar Energy Installer, you know the toughest thing is finding solid new leads. Solar companies looking for new business can acquire a highly targeted list to reach the best possible prospects in their market. A well-constructed, targeted list offers you tremendous omni-channel capabilities. The same list can be used for direct mail, telemarketing, email marketing and social media advertising. Consequently, by using multiple marketing channels, your visibility and branding will improve. Your response rate will increase. And, above all – you are making the most out of your cost per record!

“We can customize a list of Homeowners with specific demographics”.  And, we can also overlay lifestyle data on the list. This includes a household’s propensity to be Green” explained Dale Filhaber, president of Dataman Group Direct. “One of the top market segments are New Homeowners. It’s no secret that they have the most to gain from a new solar installation”.
