Dale is President of Dataman Group Direct Mail & Telemarketing Lists in Boca Raton, FL and is one of the top “Listologists” in the state. Dale has been in the direct marketing industry for the past 30 years, is a sought-after speaker on direct marketing topics for associations, colleges & universities, and is the author of the popular blog “Ask DataDale”. She holds an MPA from New York University in Organization Development and a BA from Queens College in Communications Management.
FDMA’s Highest Honor
The prestigious FDMA Hall of Fame honor has been awarded 5 times in the past 30 years. Past recipients include Robert Dunhill of Dunhill International Lists, nationally acclaimed author and creator of the slasher movie genre Herschel Gordon Lewis, former FDMA president Betty Kaufman, and noted DM innovator Julius Spector.
“Direct marketing” (DM) is the art and science of sending one-to-one promotional messages directly to consumers, rather than via a mass medium such as print advertising. Direct marketing campaigns include direct mail, email, catalogs, telemarketing and similar methods. Database management is a major component of DM campaigns. The ‘call to action” and measurable nature of DM campaigns make this a popular approach among many business owners.
FDMA luncheon meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month at the Westin Hotel in Fort Lauderdale. New members get their first luncheon free when they join.
