Amazon’s 2018 Holiday Toy Catalog is the ultimate example of using direct mail to drive traffic to a website.

While it may not be the same without the Toys R Us catalog this holiday season, kids everywhere can rest easy, because Amazon is coming to the rescue.

U.S.A. Today reported that some of the toys featured in Amazon’s “A Holiday of Play” catalog come with a QR code allowing consumers to scan and bring up links of the products. The catalog is being mailed to millions of U.S. homes and distributed at Whole Foods Markets.

Also – the catalog will not have prices listed, since online pricing changes so rapidly, which means consumers will have to go to the website to check pricing and place orders.
