November is Long Term Health Care Month. It’s a great time for Insurance Agents to capitalize on the consumer awareness momentum created by the Long Term Care Insurance Association to promote Long Term Health Care insurance during the month.

The statistics are staggering. At least 70% of individuals age 65+up will need Long-term Care Services and support sometime during their lives.  The average length of a nursing home stay is 835 days—or more than two years. At a median daily rate of $240, an average nursing home stay of 835 days currently costs over $200,000, making it virtually un-affordable for many Americans.

Long Term Health Care monthDataman Group works closely with Insurance agents, recommending they use direct mail to reach out to new prospects and let them know that their agency is part of this national initiative.

Insurance agents who partner up with this national program will have a higher level of credibility and be able to make the case for the value of Long Term Care Insurance with their prospects.
